No Eva Notty, Vanilla DeVille or Maserati XXX? That surprises me. Aletta Ocean at 27, only because I think she was top 5 last year if memory serves right? There are few surprises to me. Very happy to see Jayden, one of my personal current favourites, ranked so highly. I tend to think of Lisa, Madi and Asa as the three "big stars" right now that scoop awards and generally get the attention, so no surprise to see them occupy top 10 positions. Maybe a little surprised that Asa is only #10.

That surprised me a little too, I thought Remy would be higher. I assumed everyone loved her. Although looking at the makeup of that 100 and certain girls high rankings despite them being barely active or retired, maybe across porn fandom in general, big tits still rule.

I'm also slightly surprised at the high position of Little Caprice, I had no idea she was that popular.


One personal surprise for me, from a domestic point of view, is from our batch of homegrown glamour models, Alice Goodwin made the top 100 searches but Lucy Pinder didn't. Alice is forever in and out of the game, and has nowhere near the profile Lucy has over here or the volume of content, so I'm somewhat surprised that if one English titty model got in, it's Alice.

Yeah, I don't really understand this concept of "overrated" when it comes to porn. They sell a lot of shit - DVDs, site memberships etc - and oh, lookie, they are among the most searched for stars. So that must mean a whole hell of a lot of guys are fapping to them. So, they must be doing something right, yeah? Like luis says :

What you mean is, a fuckton of people like them, you don't. That's not "overrated," it's down to your personal taste. My own personal opinion is having finally watched some of Madison's scenes this summer and since as opposed to just looking at stills and thinking "whatever", she puts in some very passionate performances and I can understand why she's so popular. Lisa I still have yet to "get it" but that's probably down to not really bothering to watch her much yet. Lexi Belle is one that I don't really "get" either, she ranked 17. But I'm going to call neither "overrated" because it doesn't fit.

"Overrated" to me, is like when you have a sportsperson who despite having a high profile or playing for a good team, constantly fails to perform well (score goals, for instance) or achieve any success in competitions. They have a measure for "success" and they don't reach it. Pornstars' measure for success, surely, is to sell DVDs, make money and have their shit searched for on places like FreeOnes? So.... how can anyone that does get high volume of searches possibly be overrated?

If anything, maybe people like Remy or Stoya should be the ones we call "overrated" because if we use the FreeOnes search engine as a barometer for popularity, for all the attention they get, they actually rank pretty low in terms of getting their content searched for? I'm fairly stunned at some of the retired stars that rank higher than Stoya, I thought she was meant to be a big deal. Whatever. Probably should try and get over talking about "overrated" in terms of something as subjective as who floats your boat.

Jayden isn't so much as a surprise. She's never been out of the top 10 for the year since she came onto the scene. In fact, she has been in almost all the top 20 for the month as well. I think there's only been 3-4 times in the past several years she hasn't made it.
